Some thoughts on Incredibles 2 feedback: I feel like relativism is killing creativity and criticism. If you're going to pardon a bad movie because you liked the first movie, then you shouldn't criticize other bad movies you have no personal investment in. It's biased and hypocritical. The Incredibles 2 isn't a good movie; it's sloppy and lazy. Even Brad Bird admitted it's a dumb popcorn movie. Yet people are going like, "Eh, it's not that bad" while bashing a movie like Justice League. Both of these films offer dumb fanservice at the sacrifice of its own plot, yet people are soooo okay with The Incredibles because they liked the first one. Sheesh. Btw, The Incredibles wasn't my top Pixar film. It's Toy Story 2. And I didn't go gaga over Toy Story 3 like it's some kind of epic masterpiece; even I saw its flaws. This is one of the reasons why great movies like The Iron Giant fails in service of either mediocre or blatantly movies, and we end up with whole line of even more mediocre movies because money talks, and good story can go to hell for all Hollywood cares about. We end up hindering the progress of actually incredible films so that you could praise average or below average ones that Hollywood would keep churning out. It's almost ironic how The Incredibles 2 presents the problem with Pixar and Hollywood that a statement from The Incredibles 1 could reflect: "It's psychotic! They keep creating new ways to celebrate mediocrity!"

A homer is someone who roots for their home team no matter what, no matter how bad they are.

A homer is someone who roots for their home team no matter what, no matter how bad they are. I see. I guess that's me! Can't say I blame him. I'm a Spidey Homer. Oh wait, I said Superior Spider-Man sucks... Yeah. Hm. Guess I do blame him. You root for Batman & Robin too? Guess I'll have to give you the COLD shoulder. What killed the dinosaurs? Anything but the ice-age because that came millions of years later, Schumacher, you . And if anything, I'm definitely not a Marvel Homer. I'm probably one of the biggest Marvel critics ever, legitimately hating on Guardians of the Galaxy and the Ant-Man movies, and I could safely say that Infinity War was anything but bollocks, and it's definitely one of the most entertaining movie experiences I've had in a while. Well, maybe not 'Iron Giant' entertaining... or Winter Soldier... or Black Panther... or many of the top Pixar movies... but definitely one of the most! Oh yeah, and Eisenberg sucks. I wanted Kevin Spacey (y'know, before the whole child molesting scandal came about). My second choice would have been Bryan Cranston. Oh, and Batfleck is overrated. KEVIN CONROY FOR THE WIN, MOTHERF***ER! Or at least Josh Brolin if you want to go for live action candidates. Like, c'mon, have you seen his Thanos? Now imagine that but with a motherf***ing bat costume! "Fun isn't something one considers when cleansing Gotham of crime. But this... does put a smile on my face." Oh, and you wanna know one more thing? JOSS WHEDON DIDN'T RUIN JUSTICE LEAGUE. The DCEU was doomed from the start (AKA Man of Brooding Steel). It takes time to build up an entire freaking cinematic universe, but noooo, Warner Brothers had to rush it. 70% of the time, a good movie is ruined by executive meddling thinking they know better. STOP THINKING YOU KNOW BETTER. YOU DON'T. Hell, we the audience ironically probably know it better than you do, creating videos and essays examining through hundreds if not thousands of hours of movie scenes talking about this . If you were not too busy making ass-load of money then you might have paid some decent attention to the you are churning out. Ahem. Basically, just let the directors do their thing. Trust in their vision and art. END OF RANT. tl;dr: Infinity War > Justice League

I haven't got a f**king clue what you're going on about.
In summary:
Batman & Robin was a travesty.
Dinosaurs deserved what they got.
You probably are a Marvel homer.
Eisenberg, Spacey, Cranston can all go jump off a cliff for the role of Lex Luthor.
Kevin Conroy IS Batman.

You pretty much repeated or agreed on half of what I said and you don't know what I was going on about? Sheesh, you ARE a DC homer. Btw, "homer" is beginning to be used the way "hipster" is being used by modern generation - it's pretty much a meaningless label in your context to disagree with someone else. I mean, I said Guardians of the Galaxy (one of the most celebrated movie icons by Marvel suckers fanboys everywhere) sucks and you still think I'm a Marvel homer? Sheesh, what do I have to do? Burn Captain America's uniform? 'Coz you know, flag-burning?

It's all a new concept to me. Are you a Marvel homer? I dunno... Look at your book shelf and tell me how many non-Marvel titles are on there. Flag burning... I'm British. Thats something that doesnt come up. Burn a picture of the Queen and that's a different matter It's good to hear you didn't like GOTG. Seems like everyone loved that movie for some reason. DCEU... It's an acquired taste. I like my movies dark. I coulda picked a better Batman and definitely Luthor, but I found them entertaining.
