As you know, this place isn't monetized in any way. I don't earn money from ads, etc. The forum exists for the love of 'all things comics' and having a place to freely discuss it with friends. In other words, this place is just for fun. But some of you have expressed an interest in growing the membership, which could be fun too - more opinions, more collections to look over, added knowledge, etc. I've never advertised this forum, it's always just grown organically from word of mouth; but I'm not opposed to growth.
Squishee brought up the idea of earning VCCU money for links. I think this is a great idea, as it could bring some new contributors here. It could also expand your comic universe if you only belong to one or two forums.

So here's the new cash bonus:
Weekly Outreach Bonus
Earn$10 $25 each time you link this forum to another comic book forum.
1) Don't spam. The link should be germane to the forum and/or conversation at hand.
2) Make sure you follow their forum rules.
3) CGC and CBCS forums are NOT eligible.
4) To earn the award, post a link in this thread to the linked post on the other comic book forum.
5) Cash will be awarded each Sunday.
6) You may make as many links as you like (easy money)

1) I was just talking about that on The Comic Book Forum. (LINK) As you can see...blah, blah, blah...

You get the picture...no spamming...just normal linking like you would do with any other site. If you want an example, take a look at my journal. I steal content from everywhere and try hard to link it back to the original source. It's symbiotic - they get some new viewers/members/subscribers, we get new content. This is basically the reverse of that.
Just don't be a dick or you'll do more harm than good.
The goal is to bring in some new members who are attracted to the content here.
