At least they've still got the Cornish pasty forehead. I think it's actually Argentine Empanada forehead. Those are Klingons from a different continent

Ugh! Are those Klingons or Ferengi with brow ridges?? :roflmao: What a stupid change for the sake of change. Biodiversity much? Qo'noS is about three times the diameter of the Earth, so I'm sure the shear number of species and sub-species are enough to make any biologist drop their jaw.

I don't think I like that very much. Discovery is not supposed to be in the Kelvin timeline but visually, it sure looks like it. This show looks and feels much different than any ST show that came before it. I'll definitely watch the first episode though

I love ST and always watch every iteration of the show, regardless of its flaws. But one thing that's always bothered me is the reliance on humanoid life forms and the rubber masks. Without some sort of believable genetic seeding backstory, there's just no way evolution would replicate that form to the extent seen on the show. It's just silly. That made sense with a low budget TV show from the 60s, but there's no reason to continue that flaw going forward.

The Chase

The ChaseI forgot about that one. I just watched a little of it...the Cardassian woman argues that the code might be nothing more than a recipe for biscuits (I you not. ), and the Klingon says he'll send his mother's recipe to her.

The ChaseI thought that was a good episode. I haven't watched it in a few years though. Speaking of changing timelines, Yesterday's Enterprise has to be my favourite Next Gen episode.

If I watch the blossoming romance between Worf and Troi one more time, I'm going to puke.

I don't think Cardassian biscuits would taste too good. On the other hand, Klingon biscuits with a side of gahk? Now we're talkin'!

The chick who played Tasha Yar was in Stephen King's Pet Semetary. I wonder why her career tanked

I'm glad she left Next Gen. Her departure opened the door for Worf to shine. He was the more interesting character anyway
