Mike Royer purchased these from someone in 1969 (he can't remember who). He purchased it because it was signed by Jack Kirby ("page" 1), who had just brought him on as his inker. Once his, he asked JK to inscribe it, and he did on "page" 14. fwiw the sigs are original and not part of the copy- evident when held to light. A couple years ago Mike was having a garage sale and someone familiar with his career mentioned a desire for a Kirby sig. Mike mentioned these even though they were never part of the sale and the guy said he'd get back to him later in the week with a decision. Months went by without contact so Mike offered them to me, feeling better about it knowing they'd be a treasured part of my Royer collection. Obviously he had nothing to do with the art, but it is a part of his history with The King, and so I feel it belongs with the rest of it. The iconic FF #12 stat copies signed by Jack Kirby x2.

Odd that the dealer lists D. Bruce Berry as he inker- Mike did ink it, and it's well documented that he did. D. Bruce Berry's style was close to Mike's, almost as though that were his goal, but his lines and 'feathering' weren't as clean.
