Your food comes within ten minutes?lickitysplit! I probably didn't get the time right The food took about 20. The pint was pulled about 10 minutes after I ordered it and I still had to wait over 10 minutes for it to be brought over.

It's Friday and you want to leave early to get your weekend started early. On your way out, you wind up getting asked a ton of questions by your crew that by the time you get to your car you wind up leaving on-time.

I didn't mean to sound too negative, but dang when your boss is making a mad dash to the door because it's Friday, it's probably not a great time to ask him about the vacation request you put in the system that won't be for another three months.

"It's Friday. I'm on my way home and you're asking me about that vacation request you put in? The easy answer is to say 'no'. Question answered; problem solved. Maybe want to wait till Monday...?"

It irritates me when I just spent over $1,000 this year on car repairs and last week my car died on me as I was backing out of my parking space!! Brand new battery, starter, ignition switch etc...so I don't know what is wrong THIS TIME! Can't get my car looked at by my mechanic until this coming Monday. I have been taking Lyft to work since I do not own a 2nd vehicle. I have decided to buy a new car, but have to get my old one up and running so I can sell it.

If I leave them hanging over the weekend they may wind up being disengaged and may impact customer service or their own work performance. It's happened before. Adults can be real babies when they don't get things immediately.

Thinking about it, Fid, if they under perform, can't you just fire them? Fire one and the rest will fall into line.

Tough love management since 2016 If they're under performing then I have to show that I did everything to help them succeed. This means providing coaching, coming up with an improvement plan, having them execute on the plan, evaluating their performance, and then move onto disciplinary steps if they don't improve. It's far easier to terminate a team member for policy violation (attendance) than for performance.

You could pretty much fire anyone who was underperforming or just being a pain the ass. Sounds like you have exactly the same hoops as we do. Employment law... It's great until you reach management level

The rest of the US isn't as bad. I'm in California which is not a business friendly state.
