I have no patience with solicitors or scammers, I always immediately hang up or say "FU" before hanging up.

I don't even get live people anymore, all the solicitor calls are recorded. All under a spoofed number too.

It irritates me when people walk over my drive because they're too damn lazy to do the extra 30 yards on the public footpath.
I have an L-shaped driveway that comes off the road then turns left towards my house. On the right hand side of the drive is a council-owned grass area in the shape of a rectangle. The long section of my drive forms one edge and the public footpath forms the other three edges. Rather than walk round, people just walk up my drive to the other side.
I've lived there for over 10 years and it rarely happened until a few months ago. Now it's become an epidemic. I chased after some guy walking his dog yesterday. I explained the situation, politely, and asked him not to do it again. The arrogant git tried to argue the significance of it being private property! He didn't get away with that, I can tell you. Git.
This is the problem with today's "adults". None of them act like adults; they act like children. Why were my father's generation different? They acted like adults. They didn't park where they wanted, walk where they wanted, say what they wanted... Boundaries, both physical and personal, were respected. I was brought up like that... Why wasn't everyone else?

It's all selfishness, which is basically being uncivilized and not being able to rise above the animal-mind. Buy a rifle and a shovel...problem solved.

I'm impressed at how seriously college sports are taken in the US. Is it the same in Canada?
Over here, "college sports" mainly consist of middle class hoorays lumbering around the university rugby field, just trying to make it down the pub afterwards.

About the same here. University games have a cult following, but aren't as popular as national sports. The only exception is hockey. Every level is followed vigorously here
I must not really be Canadian, I haven't watched or followed hockey since the early '90's, around the time the San Jose Sharks showed up
