I'm really amazed at comic book prices right now. I hadn't looked in a long time. It's crazy.

Even low grade and restored comics are having their day ECs I paid $20 for you can't get for under $100 now. My early Spideys are off da chain. People be crazy. I was at Comic Art Con last week in NJ... First off it is a terrible drive off the island. Nothing like sitting in traffic on the Deegan to get the George Washington Bridge and having the homeless walk up to you ON THE PARKWAY tapping your window for change. It reminded me why I take the subway to Yankee Stadium. Art prices were insane. I truly believe that will get a course adjustment before comics. There are too many guys trading it within a small field. I am grateful for what I had but it is insane to me that types of pages I paid x for are all going for 10x. I do chuckle though that certain pieces seem to only trade amongst dealers with a price increase each time it changes hands. As far as comics. I will see what is going on next year or the year after and then give a good hard look at what I want to sell. As of this year though, I have only purchased four books and they have all increased in price mere days or weeks after I purchased them. This increase is unprecedented. |

I've been pleased with what I have picked up and am always looking for bargains and stay out of the conversations for the most part on the boards. There are certain things I am always looking for that others are currently not so I might have a few more purchases left in me. There were pages for a thousand or two that I was interested in and I brought the cash to do the deal last week if I truly wanted to. The thing is that nothing really jumped out at me and I am getting to the point where I feel that I am buying just to buy something new rather than buy something that I really want. |

I was buying up another certain issue last year that has now started to pop. |
