I believe I heard the first album over summer break from junior high to high school. Rocked out to it, but whatever. "Paul's Boutique" dropped while I was a senior in high school, and that was, for me, one of those life-changing pieces of music. Beginning to end, it was just so... right to me. Many great albums those guys put out over their career, but to me, none top their sophomore effort.
It was a truly heart-wrenching day when Adam Yauch died. MCA was my fave of the three, so a little piece of me died that day, too.

Paul's Boutique is my favorite, I still have the first cd I bought all those years ago.

It took me a few listens before I got into it as it sounded so different from LTI. So many lyrics and samples I'd hear something new each time I played songs through.
