I went to see some books today and the seller had 3 copies of the Killing Joke, all of them with a bar code sticker on the front.
I wish I would taken a picture of them but forgot.
All of them were first prints (green lettering)

There WERE newsstand editions of later printings, but not the first print.
The bigger stores...Walden, B&N, Borders, Crown, all would have ordered copies, and the sticker UPC is common on those.

So weird - I was just looking for information about this because I found a box of old comics in my parents' house and saw this. Maybe you all can provide some info on it? Thanks for any input anybody might be able to provide Patrick

Thanks for any input anybody might be able to provide Patrick That's just a regular old first print, with an aftermarket bar code sticker on it...probably Borders, Barnes & Noble, Waldenbooks...

Thanks for the info! As you may be able to tell (or not) it is indeed a sticker UPC on this one.
