The series I referenced in my link, Revolving Doors, was an indie fantasy series from the mid 80s. www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=299601I compared the drawing on the jam sketch with the covers from Revolving Doors and thought that the elf figures looked very similar. |

F - maybe Howard Simpson, worked for Valiant in the early 90s? Every H. Simpson sig I've seen (after looking) has his "S" as a "$", and the rest isn't similar at all. Sigs change, but doesn't appear to be the case here  |

I think it's Don Simpson (Megaton Man). There's similarities in the sig from '85 as well.  Face looks similar.    That's awesome, Steve!! I think you're right again. I'm guessing it's a 'self-portrait', based on the darker and similar one. |
