Only coz Chuck never posts here anymore I don't see him posting at CGC either. He was one of the best posters there. That's a shame. His posts were always interesting.

A green label slab arrived today. The seller thought it might be signed on the interior, and it was. No mention on the label, only for McFarlane's I had that thing popped open in less than a minute- Getting it out of the sleeve took longer.

Some classic Neal Adams reprints. Nice! The current Deadman series from Adams is pretty cool(only read first three issues), but I'm looking forward to this being collected into a tpb(s). Funny, but Neal Adams is someone whose work I've grown to like more and more as the years go by.

I've read 3 of the 4 recent ones (skipped Superman) and you literally have no idea what's going to happen next this stuff is so out of left field. I hope the tpb reprints the covers so you can find the hidden gimmicks (although #1 is glow in the dark).

I know they released the final product as a tpb.

Odyssey was a bit... odd. I get that, as you're a regular reader of Batman. For someone like me, it was a cool story. I don't have much Batman history rattling around my head so it made the story easy to read as is. Hope that makes sense.

When Odyssey first came out they asked Neal if he could give us an overview of the plot. He said he could not. That's all you need to know!

When I originally purchased this set it was for a bargain and I would grade them as a solid VF 8.0-8.5. Notice the weird staple position on #188? Yeah, that is normal for this comic...or at least 50/50 chance. Don't let anyone tell you the comic has been re-stapled. My best high grade copy has those off centered staples. I was recently looking at the actual value of these comics and was amazed at how they have increased over the last several years...I had NO IDEA! I have recently been considering expanding my FF run prior to #155 but was astonished how much high grades are going for. I may just have to settle IMO?? Ha, will not go back to the Kirby era but thinking perhaps starting from #142? Hey, a Dr. Doom storyline is always a good starting point.
