Marvel's Iron Fist on Netflix

We don't stream yet. There's an old fashioned part of us that's reluctant to dive completely into the cyber age. Sometimes things are too easy today. That probably doesn't sound the way I intend. It's like the Internet; There are times, too often, that I think we, as a society, aren't ready or mature enough for the Internet as is. I think too much access isn't necessarily a good thing.

I'm not saying there's something evil about streaming I'm just saying I'm not in a hurry. We barely have enough time to watch what's on our list as it is. I dropped Agents of SHIELD because it really slipped after being really good for several weeks. After a slow start it became an "I can't wait until the next episode" show for me. Then Skye got powers, and suddenly she's this angry bad-ass acting like she's fought against the oppression of the Inhumans her entire life.

Boring. Seen it a million times.

When Simmons was trapped on the other planet, that was cool.

I was enjoying Gotham but missed some episodes, and they're already gone from On Demand. Now I have to wait until I get it, IF I get it, on bluray.

Our grandson like The Flash. I think the Barry Allen on the show is an incapable of learning anything. Very "formula" based writing; Again, seen the themes a billion times. Same with Supergirl. Arrow is probably better, but I missed the first couple seasons and hate joining one in progress . 




In summary; We don't mind waiting to advance- We just recently went 1080p, and I'll probably get a PS4 when PS5 rumors start up.

We're like Canada that way.

Oh, and my MAIN point was- Interested in Iron Fist, but will wait for the dvd IF it sounds good.

I've watched the first three episodes.

E1 and E2 were actually very good...much better than I expected.

E3 suffered from the usual sickness that makes me stop watching a series: 1) unbelievable coincidences, and 2) improbabilities of physics or outcome.

I'll keep watching for a bit, but if there's much more like E3, I'll stop.
