Are they so far removed from the public that they are
unaware of buyer's/ collector's such as us, or do the
not see us as important to their bottom line$$$$!!!
I suspect that they consider "us" to be too small a group to be relevant to them. For me, it's more than just endless reboots and gimmicks. I want comics to be more what they were like when I was reading them 30 years ago. I miss continuity. I miss a shared history. I miss non computer colored comics. I miss newsprint. I miss having a true variety of genres from Marvel and DC. Those days aren't coming back though. New comics will never be like that again. |

I missed being excited every week to go pick up my new comics. I quit not long after TWD #1 came out, and it was getting to be a chore every week instead of fun. Had I only actually picked up that TWD #1 and bought it instead of putting it back on the shelf... *sigh* not only would it be worth money, but I would have read a good, new comic.
Nowadays, it sounds like it just isn't worth getting back into. How many times have they rebooted my beloved title "Uncanny X-Men"? I almost yelled out loud when I was reading a modern Wolverine TPB in the library & found out Jubilee is now a vampire.

Sorry 'bout that... and that's not even the worst thing Marvel has done to my beloved X-Men, IMHO. As soon as I heard they were shipping all mutants off into space and the Inhumans would become the next "mutants", I seriously considered getting my X-Men shoulder-patch logo tattoo lasered off.
