Good thing you didn't grow up in LA, you would've been in a lot of fights. Did you know the fully buttoned shirt was responsible for Mike's trademark "bandana over the eyes" look. The tight collar made it difficult for him to breathe, thereby reducing his oxygen intake, and leaving him disorientated and photophobic. By partially covering his eyes, it relieved him of the photophobia. It didn't help with the disorientation, of course, which explains the trippy nature of his songs. True story. Sounds good!

We beat up a kid in 3rd. Grade for wearing a shirt like that buttoned up to the chin. You were worried about top buttons at the age of 8?! I remember punching some kid coz he said a triceratops could take a T-Rex and a correction, 13.

It must be different. We use "Were". But to answer the question, I weren't.
Limey stuff is hard.

Hey. Long time no see.
Well, this is... awkward.
I know, I know; I said a whole bunch of dumb stuff the last time I was here. I needed a break from forums and online socialization in general, so I thought disappearing for a while would be the best for everyone.
Anyway, I'm back. Sort of. I was technically already back in the online world a few weeks back, but I've stopped reading comics for a while now, so I didn't really feel a purpose coming back here and bother you guys. But then, a YouTube video about a certain amazing writer returning a certain comic book character to his status quo caught my attention...
Spencer f-ing did it. I knew I would love his work considering his work on Superior Foes, but holy s***. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Take that, Slott.
Anyway, I might pick up a copy soon, but I've got some other things in my life right now, so reading comics (and reviewing them) isn't convenient right now. Might check back with you guys soon.
Nice to see you guys again.

Don't sweat it. Stop by anytime.
You missed the festive gifts BTW. We all sent you a lump of coal.

If I fall asleep while waiting for my appointment, would anyone wake me up when they call my name?

Still a more comic-accurate Spidey than Homecoming.
This is probably your only chance of seeing Spider-Man live action set in the '60s. I would love to see this with a higher budget and better costumes, but damn, that looks legit. The Enforces were one of my favorite Spider-Man villains back then because they were just ordinary thus. No super powers, no magic, just realistic and grounded criminals that could still pose a challenge to our super-strength Wallcrawler, which says something.

That looks awesome! I'll watch it when my daughter isn't around. I don't want her picking up the mild expletives. I can just hear Mrs Bats now... "Why is your daughter going round saying Dammit and Holy...?"

Speaking of Batgirl, she's currently doing an online wordscape for 6 year olds (it's a bit like a crossword). One of the words she had to guess was "unto". What 6 year old is going to know the word "unto"?!
