My uncle's nickname was Red so I'll go with that. There's a famous announcer from that time named Red Barber too.

The nickname given doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to it, other than the writer must have liked it. Edit: There was a well known announcer with the same nickname that was used by Archie in Pep #22 who passed away a few years ago now that I think of it. Nothing to do with hair color, height, weight, etc.

Rooster? Babe? Lefty? Chick? Kid? Maybe narrow it down to just one of those.

Rooster? Babe? Lefty? Chick? Kid? Maybe narrow it down to just one of those. If it isn't color and has no reason, it's either Lefty or Chick. Chick? Lefty sounds like a hoodlum. If it's Babe, that's lame.

Yay Chick Young kept jumping to the front of my mind, but I knew that wasn't right.
Looks like Howdy Doody.

Question:
Who first presented(or gave) Captain America his Vibranium shield? The shield has been said to be composed of other metals over the years, but we're referring to his (essentially) indestructible one.

I stole this from another CB Forum. How many examples can you give? Bizarro in the late 90's or thereabouts. I can't think of anything from the 70's or 80's.
