I'm sure the roller coaster and candy floss were safe in your hands... I was "promoted" pretty quickly to the paddle boat rides and trusted to handle cash. There were no unfortunate water related incidents during my time at the helm. That's good to hear! I used to cut carpets on a Saturday. Fairly uneventful but I'd go home stinking of rubber and polypropylene.

I worked in a circuit board shop later in high school and we had to sand the copper boards to rough them up in order for the film laminate to stick. I would be covered in copper dust from head to toe. It was really hard to wash off both the body and clothes.
