Latkes. Traditionally they were served with apple sau ce and sour cream,at least Montreal style delis do.  Yum!I've never heard them called that. They're pretty difficult to make-beyond my skill.And my friend that makes the best ones is back visiting Haiti,so my craving will have to wait. Maybe I'll go to McDonalds and have a hashbrown.I wish they'd let me go by the drive through with the dog. |
