I literally go out of my way to find new information, to debate and discuss, to learn and to grow when I post stuff.
In all of the trolling he's done I don't remember a single constructive contribution.
And this is the gold right here in this forum, the other, and all forum (fora? ). The problem is pride...and not the good kind. The kind that they warned us about in Sunday School . Most people who think they're smart won't see facts because they're blinded by their own motivations.
And I realize that there's a zillion people on the CGC forum that would say that about me but I try to be about as transparent as humanly possible. I don't think I'm smart and I don't think I'm always right so I just want to learn.
The people that think they're smart usually end up being wrong. Just like on the CGC forum.

I don’t believe thinking oneself “smart” is necessarily a problem. It’s people who aren’t open to the possibility of being “wrong”, or trying to understand a different viewpoint. It exists IRL, but seems way too common on the intrawebs. edit: The only thing I remember about Sunday School was glueing green felt to some small round stones and calling it a turtle. We also crafted ashtrays out of clay for the parents to have. I don’t think “pride” was on our agenda back then.

I meant how preachers always used to preach about not being too proud and haughty because God would just cut you down.
I agree with you, and that's what I meant about smart. Smart people are not bad. I should have said 'too smart'

Too easy When you make one intelligible remark or rebuttal to something I've said maybe then I'll take you seriously.
Until then you're just an internet heckler.

You're an empty shell with nothing inside. All you do in insult without every laying out any substance.
If they're wingnut conspiracy theories they should be easy to disprove so just post something to rebut them. If you can't, and all you can do is call names then you may as well fly the white flag because that's all you've got left.
Spoken like the narcissistic attention whore you are. "Engage me or you're a loser" If you have a soul you really should search it. You may discover that you're not even half the man you think you are. You do what all the other weak people do.
You move the goal posts and misrepresent what I said. I said neither that I needed to be engaged nor did I say you're a loser.
I said that if you can't actually offer a rebuttal and can only insult that it's the same as giving up.
As far as what type of man I am, I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else. Those that know me closest know what type of man I am.

Of course it's what you said. But you never actually "said" it because you're too dishonest and too much of a coward to be honest with us and yourself. Pedantic semantics. Without these conspiracy theories you have nothing in your life, that's why you cling to them so desperately. You wish I'd give up

I'm glad I don't post the stuff you do on the internet where it lives forever.

nice deflection, that link has absolutely nothing to do with our situation. Never gonna happen either, Paranoid Pierre. First of all, First Amendment beyotch. Second of all, I stand by anything I've ever written. And thirdly, did that big bad Stooey bully widdle liddle Roy boy? Reminds me of Saul Rosenburg "I was hurt at work today... He hurt my feelings". Play the victim Rad Roy!

Online policing is coming (it's already started) and the Democrats that you love will likely be doing their best to make things more 'fair' for everyone and that includes online cyberbullying.

Gotta say Roy...some very non-presidential, weird people over here.

So we've already seen how weaponized and politicized everyone's antics have been over the last few years.
Democrats were adamant about keeping states closed because of Covid infections but are now opening states up even though infections are at a higher infection rate than when they locked them down last year...and it's hard to convince me that the election had nothing to do with their positions.
We've seen Bezos champion mail in voting for the national election but then say it wasn't secure for his own unions to vote.
Now we have this.
I mean, seriously?
Trump got lambasted for disputing election results but now a Democratic lawyer is doing it in several counties and nobody is saying boo. And to whit, a lawyer that was involved with creating a phony Trump smear campaign by the Clintons.
You literally can't make stuff like this up in real life, it's so at odds with reality.
And no, this is not meant to be a pro Republican post. The news is the news and the facts are the facts. I'm happy to discuss anything crazy about any political party because I'm not a partisan person.

This compilation video that the House used in the impeachment proceedings against Trump is pretty incredible to watch. You really get a sense of how the riot felt from the video (which I think was the intent)
This is the 1st close look I've taken at the riot visually.
