Tonight: roast gammon, seasonal vegetables and gravy. I drove Batwoman into town earlier for a night out with her work colleagues in a Chinese restaurant. Next door to the resto is a kebab house. I say, "bring me home one of those, if you would be so kind please..." She just got home. No kebab   not even chips and curry sauce ? |

I'd had some pork dish, cooked in soy sauce, served with rice and vegetables. I dunno what is was but it tasted good.

Tough as hell steak tonight but then finished it off with a bowl of Resse's Peanut Butter cereal. It's so great to have kids in the home still, otherwise I would have had a bowl of grape nuts instead.

I love Grape Nuts, but I usually forget to put them in milk the night before I want to eat them. |

I love Grape Nuts, but I usually forget to put them in milk the night before I want to eat them. The way you get around that is to put it in the microwave for a couple minutes, it's wonderful warm. |
