Agreed. I am not eating many working organs, but especially ones that are filters! Kidney & liver, no thanks. Might as well stew up some bladder & anus. Other than some beef heart I've had grilled (a little tough, very beefy flavour!), I don't get too excited about organs & giblets. Please, no lungs, no brains. I think I might eat tongue if I had to.

Chitlins. If I have my anatomy correct, you got the lower track in there. Ain't no food down in that area! Matter a fact, I think somebody spelled a word wrong.

I usually get some "Italian blend" cheese to add to it, but I wasn't the one who went to walmart or set the oven.

All the main ingredients of a hot dog  Stop me if I've said this before. I do tend to repeat myself... I once worked with a young lady from overseas. She was telling me about her recent trip home and all the great food she'd eaten. She named this one dish - her "favourite" - and I said I'd never heard of it. "It's cows' brains" she said. Not wanting to stunt the conversation, I just said "in Britain, people eat Steak & Kidney pie"... To which she pulled a face and replied "Ugh! Kidney!" Now, I don't know about you guys, but if I had to choose between filtration organs and brains, I'd choose kidney and liver any day... |
