I've been experimenting with crock pot marinara sauce. I buy restaurant supply size stewed tomatoes in a giant can to keep the cost down. The prices of quart size marinara sauce have always pissed me off - plus, I go through it so quickly. I'm liking the results a lot...much cheaper and tastier.

Had a whopper meal today.Had to ask for my fries no salt three times. So,my fourth order was barely salted..sigh. Yes,I know the food is horrible enough.. You have my sympathy... I used to enjoy BK but not anymore. I'll eat at McDs if I have to (translate that to: told to). But how much salt?! Geez... You know they probably just rinsed your fries under the hot tap

Tonight, stale crumpets and John Lydon butter... Quite fitting when you think about it...

There's not actually that much salt in McD's fries. But there's a staggering amount in lots of their other food.

I love it with Keens spicy mustard.Like wasabis yellow cousin. Gulden's spicy brown or nothing! Have you tried Guldens Sriracha mustard?

Defrosting some chicken drumsticks for dinner tonight. I'll probably make a sauce out of whatever I have in the fridge.

As usual, no idea.
Yesterday I split a can of CBAD ravioli. Made it like I talked about before, put it in a baking dish & sprinkled on some Parm. Half a can isn't too much for my current diet.
Thinking of making some dough tonight for a stromboli tomorrow.

You poor old sod Something like that happened to me - but probably nowhere near as bad - after getting sick and not eating properly for two weeks. Everything tasted like salt... I couldn't eat because I was sick, then I couldn't eat because everything tasted like the Dead Sea
