Grilling "Huli Huli" chicken thighs tonight. Marinate overnight in pineapple juice, ketchup, soy, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, and toasted sesame oil. Simple, & really good. Serving with rice and... IDK what else yet.
Tomorrow will be breakfast for dinner, I am making sourdough pancakes - a first for me. Tonight I have to mix the starter with the flour to get it going, then add eggs, milk, sugar, & a little salt to the batter right before spooning the mix onto the griddle.

Lunch #1Brown rice, black beans, broccoli and sriracha I've eaten this meal every damn day for like 5 months. I never get tired of it. Very healthy and fast. Takes about 5 minutes to cook if you already have the rice and beans cooked up.

And yes, I know the broccoli should be fresh, not frozen. But sometimes the fresh stuff doesn't look so great (depending on the season), so I always have a freezer full of the frozen stuff. And then I don't have to deal with removing the skin from the stalks since I can just buy the florets.

In all seriousness, I don't mind broccoli. Cauliflower however

Love peas and mushrooms. I should honestly be a vegetarian with all the vegetables I do like Can't live without meat though. Fish, venision, beef, pork, seafood of all kinds, sheep, lamb....I don't like goat. Then there is chicken, duck, partridge, ostrich (took me a little bit to get used to that) I like to try new things. It's been awhile though, the last new thing I got stuck on was unagi. BBQ eel, is YUMMY

Have you ever watched the original Iron Chef? They used eel quite a few times, and it's very interesting watching them prep it. I like the "bone cutting", where they actually chop up the bones small enough so they can be eaten. Lots of calcium in those dishes...

No, I've never been into cooking shows, but I can see why people are.
