Cool story about meeting Neal. I really liked the Odyssey storyline. I know it got panned by some reviewers, but maybe my not being a huge Batman fan let me read it with a different perspective than the hardcore fans.
You didn't mention if Neal was wearing a blue shirt.

You didn't mention if Neal was wearing a blue shirt. Ha, oh yeah- And red tie. Has to be the only creator that has his own costume. I liked Odyssey as well, but not nearly as much as grittier Bat stories. It's funny, but as Bruce's narrative moved along and we eventually see the hand of the person he's speaking to; as soon as I saw the band-aid I knew who it was. It enhances the disguise.

Odyssey was so crazy that I enjoyed it. Neal was at the show I went to in August, he had a huge display and no lines.

Perhaps an indication of the frequency of his appearances, or certainly his sketch/sig prices. As I mentioned I can't easily attend shows, so when I meet a Legend, I don't gripe. I'd HAPPILY pay Frank Miller $100 directly for his sig. Indirectly- I probably would, but only because after he... you know, people are going to inflate them beyond reason. All the shows I coulda/shoulda/woulda gone to

Awesome journal! I love that you made friends with Mike Royer...and that he turned out to be so near to you.

Thanks! He's a great guy- and I've never seen such a huge DVD collection! He has every single production of Zorro ever made!

Yeah, I forgot about that. If only there was a site where people can trade comics I'll look through my books. I know I have a few duplicate Royer sigs

Still looking for a Berni sig? Yeah, I forgot about that. If only there was a site where people can trade comics I'll look through my books. I know I have a few duplicate Royer sigs Dontt know if you'll be seeing him soon, but I could always send you one of my own books to get signed. And, don't know if you were kidding or not, but Ditch did reopen the Trading section.

Oh cool, even better. How about I send you a package with 2 comics in it and then you send it back to me with 1 comic in it? I'll send you a signed Bernie book if you get Mike to sign a comic I will supply for you. I promise not to send my signed Kirby book Please realize the books will not be packaged like your tutorial shows If you think this would be cool I'll PM you on the other board in our thread. I'll have to look through the boxes and find a few choices for you. Edit: not sure how you feel about signed on the cover?

I'm going to have to read up on that multiple quote tutorial.

Seems somewhat lopsided, so I'll be sure to make things square
"I promise not to send my signed Kirby book "
Most kind of you

Super cool! I figure the deal will be even because you're doing me a favor, I've been lucky enough to meet Bernie several times, my books aren't high grade, and honestly, my HOS 92 will not be one of your choices I'll give a look through the boxes tonight and post some here. I'll PM you on the other board. And I still have to figure out what Royer book to send...
