I see that Marvel and DC have a very long and loose leash on the creative control of their writers (and artists too).
With all these parallel worlds, the sky's the limit. I admit I know Marvel better than DC. The Spider-Verse is quite the treat. Humor too. Big and complex cross overs of characters. Who can keep track of everything going on with the X-Men?
Gone are the days of cookie cutter, repetitive and formulaic stories were you've read one, you've read them all.
