a thread is essentially dead if only one person ever really posts in it. I stopped my dumb hollywood hut thread due to this.
If someone persists in several dead threads they are a dead threader.
If its the same dead topic in several dead threads well then-the person just might be unhinged.

From reddit  Out of This World Dated a girl for ~4 months a few years back. One day we were chilling at my house, ask her if she wants to watch an episode of Brian Cox’s documentary Wonders of the Universe to which she told me she “doesn’t believe in space” She was 100% convinced that the sky was all there was and that space was a huge cover-up by the government or some sh*t. At first, I laughed, then we argued and I couldn’t win because I haven’t been to space to prove it exists. We didn’t see much of each other after that. |

You agree with people and lavish them with praise until they disagree with you and then you turn on them. You did this with CGC Mike, me and many others. Why can't you just ignore what you don't like? Why do you have to go out of your way and be the person you're usually complaining about? |

Imagine it's the 1950's, you're in a State that has no human rights laws to protect black people and you're the only person that is standing up for the human rights of black people. Imagine if someone told you that because you're the only person talking about it, you're unhinged and shouldn't be talking about it anymore? Imagine what was done to those people in the 1950's and compare that to how they'd be treated today. Do you think all of those people through the ages who joined mobs and condemned White people that stood up for black people apologized for the public smears against the activists? What would the correct course of action be in a situation like this? |
