Pretty inconsequential modern book, but (IMO) a pretty cool cover homage to the very cool Fleetwood Mac 'Rumors' classic album cover.  |

Cool? Spock is cool. The episode ("Amok Time") that this photo-cover was taken from is super-cool. That episode started Season 2 of Star Trek in late 1967, while the comicbook below didn't come out until late 1969, after the series had already been canceled (yes, canceled!) after the show's timeslot was ungraciously moved to the "dead zone" of Friday night 10pm to let it die.  |

Lets break this down. first of all it should be called a compulsion not an impulsion-thats number 1. second, there is nothing freak about it-this is how vulcans mate. third, it had NO effect on the galaxy-none. certainly not any kind of 'disaster'. fake news. |

The story in this book has nothing to do with the "Amok Time" episode, it's about Kirk and Spock trying to save some planets from being destroyed. They only put the photo-cover on because... it's cool. And I think they misspelled "implosion". |
