I gotta say it seems totally true. I'm pushing 50, and I remember my parent's friends in their 40s and 50s and they really looked OLD. And I've made sure I looked through the corectlens of time and...we look better.

Actually, I don't eat fast food at all and avoid food that comes in boxes like the plague. And I eat mostly meat

And I eat mostly meat I'm 53 and I have women regularly comment on "what great skin I have". Not sure how much is genetics and how much is habits and self care but I almost never use soap. Just water. And I've stopped even using shampoo most of the time and usually just rinse my hair with water. I use shampoo made once every month or two months only to remove excessive oil buildup. Laugh all you want, it works. I also eat reasonably well, avoid too much sun burn, etc.

I still use soap for my crotch but otherwise nope and never have any body odor any more. As far as food I eat meat and potatoes basically never fruits or vegetables. i know I should but I am physiologically very healthy and look abt 10 years younger.

My oncologist told me that, physiologically, I'm probably at least 10 years older than my actual age due to all my cancer treatments.
Funny, I can "self-identify" as a woman if I wanted and have all my legal records and benefits changed to match, but I can't "self-identify" as a 69-year old and start taking full Social Security benefits.

You may have a little body odor under the arms. Everyone's is different, but I think that comes more from your diet, how healthy your body is and other things. Even if you use soap under your arms, the odor comes back pretty quickly, so it has little to do with soap. Crotch yes, but only when necessary. Most of the times, I don't use it there either.

Diet has not changed and the change occured immediately after stopping soap. Did some test soap washes and soap-odor. No soap-no odor. Every time.

My theory is soap kills the bacteria that keep the odor bacteria in check.

I also use an alum/salt solution as a deodorant for extra protection.
