Black men and women are actually the 'most racist' demographic in America, according to polls. I think the cause of this is because a large group of people think that 'reverse racism' is okay, which it most certainly is not. I cannot blame them-everywhere you look they are being told what evil racists whites are. white privilege, white fragility, you can attach any adjective to whites with impunity. Its everywhere in the media, movies, TV, politics-and advertising works. Don Lemon makes a career out of it in my opinion. And he's not the only one. |

I would have answered not sure to that poll
whether the question was okay to be white, black or brown, yellow etc
not sure what the question being asked is
it sounds like a philosophical question that requires more than a yes/no answer
Logically I would think it's okay to be white for white people, but I wouldn't know nor would I be dumb enough to think I can understand what that life is like
Consider the source of the poll and you'll have your answer. Perpetual conservative victimhood is real. US Conservatives are THE most persecuted minority in history. Just ask them. Whether it's books they hate (biographies of MLK for instance) not being banned/burned, or lifestyles and minorities asserting their right to equality rather than behaving as conservatives believe they should, conservative pain is REAL. Those Christians thrown to the lions had it easy by comparison!  |

My best friend's grandparents on one side fled the slavery of communism, so people downplaying and even embracing the concept is understandably a charged subject for him.

The Ottoman Turks enslaved Eastern Europeans for 500 years. The term SLAVE comes from the word SLAV, short for Slavic. I'm Slavic or Slav. If you owned a "Slav" you owned a SLAVE. I'm a direct descendent from ancestors who were slaves. --------------------------------------------- Communism was another form of slavery that came many years after. After the Ottoman empire broke, my family grew to have some moderate wealth, meaning they owned a farm and some animals. In late 1950s communism stole these things from my family. They left the country because of it. Anyone who has any experience or education in European slavery and / or communism is going to see life very differently than most plush living Westerners who are clueless as to the history of these things. And they will generally repeat history's mistakes. |

They left the country because of it. Anyone who has any experience or education in European slavery and / or communism is going to see life very differently than most plush living Westerners who are clueless as to the history of these things. And they will generally repeat history's mistakes.
That's the same time-frame when his grandparents fled the USSR.

The strongest immune reaction is to prepare the body by seeking the most optimum health and then meeting your opponent in nature, head on. And this goes to bullying, racism or anything else. There may be some aspects of critical race theory that may even be theoretically sound, like making people aware of insensitivity or blind spots, but where Liberals (much like Religions) fail is they institute things that don't need to be instituted. Why? Because when something is instituted you create a NEW set of victims. You can go one of two ways in every case. You can make the victim stronger or the opponent weaker. Making the opponent weaker never solves the problem. There are always new opponents. There's an endless stream of them. But making the victim stronger makes the number of opponents irrelevant. And not only that, it then empowers the victims to empower other victims. Libs have decent ideas but terrible execution of those ideas. Do you know why? |

Libs have decent ideas but terrible execution of those ideas. Do you know why? Apparently, psychologically, Liberals more often tend to be people who are more agreeable and less organized. They're often humanities and arts students. The dreamers. And while they come up with many ideas, the execution of them is different than conservatives who tend to think things through more. Conservatives are apparently more structured and organized. So they attack and execute ideas very differently. The pandemic is proof. It was a total disaster wherever it was handled by Liberals. It's like they didn't even try to mitigate it. All they tried to do was look good while doing it. It would be really great if both sides could use each other's strengths rather than prey on each other's weaknesses. |
