except for sociopaths-they seem to be almost another species. But there is a specific reason for them as well. Finding the reason out is the mission. They are perfect for certain jobs others cannot handle-like EMTs dealing with dead children and whatnot. Not saying EMTs are sociopaths but for regular folks working as EMTs or homicide detectives what they see can take a huge toll. |

The key to a successful life is using your strengths to help others and managing your weaknesses. |

They are perfect for crisis situations where not freaking out and becoming emotional is crucial. You want a sociopath working on you if you if you are badly injured not someone going OH MY GOD!!

Thank you!  Both liberals AND conservatives are guilty of these attacks, and Zod takes his liberal friends to task all the time about this. But - for instance - the brilliant writing of the devout Christian MLK Jr. is under attack by conservative groups.
Can you possibly approve of this? Not familiar with this. What example are you referring to? It's referenced in the OP linked article (among other places) by conservative Christian David French. |

IMO book banning in elementary / middle schools is a big culture war, nothing burger. If the right wants to ban Babar the Elephant from the school library I could give two craps. The reason I don't care is the kids can just go to their local public library and get it there. It would be nice to see politicians give a damn about issues that actually affect peoples day to day lives as opposed to these distractions.That day will never come. But in the meantime, these distractions (created and manipulated by both major parties) become more and more disturbing. Where books are burned, people will be burned as well and so forth. |
