It does render it more meaningless though. Take a "Red" state like Tennessee.... Memphis (Democrat-run) Nashville (Democrat-run) Just those two Democrat-governed cities account for 19% of the state population yet account for 40% of the state's violent crime. there's no way to slice and dice this to make democrats look good-they suck at running things. utopian policies always create hell holes. always. But, if you want to self-identify as any of that, be my guest! And I am so glad we then agree on what "freedom" is: Freedom is not the ability to do whatever you want. Freedom is the strength of character to do what is good, true, noble, and right.And so since we now have a common definition of "freedom", then the answer is - "gay marriage" is not marriage since it contradicts what "marriage" actually is.
