Progress!!! I mean, who wants to live like those old-fashioned puritans with all their doing their homework in school, getting jobs, saving money, buying houses, getting married, retiring and living comfortably within their means... what a bunch of losers they were!  Look at the age demographic for who votes Republican and who votes Democrat. Do I need to mention that Dems have won the popular vote 7 out of the last 8 Presidential elections? Do you really want to look closely at the 10 largest cities run by Democrats and compare that to the 10 largest cities run by Republicans (let's say "run by" means holding the last 10-20 years or so of majority-control of that city's government). Violent crime rates, poverty rates, homelessness, unemployment rates, school-achievement/literacy/graduation rates, teen STD rates. Shall we compare? |

The Dept. Education and the Federal Office of Civil Rights is putting its full weight behind supporting men joining women's athletic teams in public schools and Universities that receive federal funding. And that is supposed to "level the playing field" for girls and women athletes???  |
