You mean like denying females the right to compete fairly with other females and not lose out because a male steps in says he's a she and starts winning everything? Less than 5% of the US population identifies as transgender or non binary, less than 1% of those participate in competitive sports. As an FYI, I am not in favor of a former man / now woman competing against other women. Not super popular amongst my peers, but I don't care. Aside from that what you stated is more culture war BS to distract from real issues that affect the day to day lives of regular americans. Concern about fairness in sport is a transparent tactic conservatives use in an attempt to conceal their terror. Just more manure spread to cover the real issues. "Level the playing field", I hear that a lot... except on the actual playing field where girls and women are being crushed in athletic competition against men who are now allowed to play on the women's fields as well as the men's fields - thus eliminating the women's fields altogether. |
