Zod wonders how often the driver of homophobia is fear of the same sex attraction which may be felt by the homophobe. This might also apply to transphobia, at least in the mind of the transphobe. Denying American citizens of rights based on their sexual preference / gender is about as unamerican as it gets. |

Men who identify as women are at roughly the same percentage in the population as women who identify as men. Except on the winner's podium for high school or college students hoping for athletic scholarships. It's almost impossible to find women who identifies as a man taking athletic scholarships, collegiate trophies, records and spots on Olympic teams away from men. But today you can't throw a stone though without hitting some dude calling himself a girl and squashing the women's competition.  |

Less than 5% of the US population identifies as transgender or non binary, less than 1% of those participate in competitive sports. As an FYI, I am not in favor of a former man / now woman competing against other women. Not super popular amongst my peers, but I don't care. Aside from that what you stated is more culture war BS to distract from real issues that affect the day to day lives of regular americans. |

At my peak was I better than any single WNBA player? No. But the "best" male basketball players will always beat the "best" women basketball players on physical strength and overall superior athleticism. |
