does anyone still buy from these guys ? it seems there prices are way high . if i could sell mine for those prices , id be rich . maybe i am and i dont know it .

Chuck's a legend and one of the smartest guys in the funny book game. I still buy from him in person, but his common individual back-issue pricing may not be as competitive as that of other sellers.

I rarely buy comics online, and recall a seller (maybe it was Chuck?) who used a random cover image rather than a picture of the actual comic for sale. While this was/is disclosed, no thanks.

Newkadia uses “stock” images, then gives a grading breakdown for the copy in-stock. My brain swirls in unpleasant random directions just looking at their site. Example:
