If you are at a party and no one is talking to you and you keep talking and talking and they just walk away without saying anything-time to leave? Or do you stay because they 'need a lecture'?

I don’t believe I’ve ever let it get to that point. I can’t imagine the sort of party where I’d just talk and talk unless there was some chemical enhancement that was behind it. Plus I’d rather sip a drink and nod while others around me talk.

when people just cannot shut up. always their own worst enemy. From reddit:
A guy was in court for a DUI, and he insisted on taking the stand when his lawyer advised him not to. So it turned out, he wanted the judge to know that the cop who arrested him was “just some rude kid trying to be a bigshot” and that he wasn’t even tipsy since he’d only had two bottles of wine with dinner. His lawyer interrupted him to try to get him to stop talking, and he told his lawyer to shut up….Then the judge advised him to listen to his lawyer. But he told the judge, “I’m not a child, don’t interrupt me.” The judge just smiled, sat back, and said, “Please, proceed.” We all knew it was over for this guy. He got maxed on the charge and was advised that in the future, if he was going to pay for a lawyer, he should listen to him. Reddit user: McFeely_Smackup

when people just cannot shut up. I think this is where the mirror you kept showing me might come in handy. Just saying. Who has a reputation of not shutting up. You or me?

A person who doesn't stop talking is either in a state of pathological agitation or is imprisoned by an egocentricity that knows no limit. In either case, verbal diarrhea is a symptom of the impossibility of communicating with others. Verbal diarrhea attacks are frequent in those who believe they know everything and more. At least they think they do. To them, there’s no topic they haven’t delved into. Everything that has happened in the world has happened to them or is about to. exploringyourmind.com/verbal-diarrhea-people-who-never-shut-up/
