i like how disagreements here dont devolve into foaming at the mouth insults unlike the cgc boards with the great moderation over there.

Absolutely. I'm just saying that I believe you and I would need to discuss it in a different context to properly explore all the facets involved. I think the discussion regarding Twitter / Musk / Collusion should stay in the Twitter / Musk / Collusion thread rather than the conspiracy theory thread, since a) it's not a conspiracy theory - it's an actual conspiracy and b) it would just get lost in all the other conspiracy theories. On that note, Glen Greenwald does an amazing job of explaining some of the backstory behind the hysteria over Musk over taking Twitter. And if you think Glen Greenwald is not worth reading over mainstream media and legacy news, you haven't graduated from grade school yet. The Media's Deranged Hysteria Over Elon Musk's Promised Restoration of Free Speech
It was easy to predict that there would be an all-out war from Western power centers if Musk sought to mildly reduce censorship on Twitter. Still, the media outdid itself. We seem to be struggling with clarity in our communications with one another. Of course there's a verified conspiracy, and the thread has been discussing this, and related matters. I was referring solely to the conspiracy tree you posted from Facebook. Greenwald is great, and I have to say your insult is both disappointing and unwarranted. I hope I haven't misjudged you, Vin.

That was a general you (vous in the French) aimed toward the general audience and not a personal (tu in the French) aimed at you personally.

Twitter Files Part Two.
This is pretty shocking.
tldr: Twitter said they wouldn't shadow ban people based on political views but all evidence points to this happening with prominent Twitter users. They shadow banned all sorts of people including accomplished scholars, journalists, etc. preventing their Tweets from being promoted.
This thread details how it was done and who it was done to.
This looks pretty damning.

Bombs continue to drop.
Former FBI lawyer was working in Twitter even after Musk's takeover allegedly trying to manipulate the inner workings of Twitter.

The Twitter Files part 3 have dropped. There's lots to think about in here as they discuss Trump's removal from Twitter but I think to me this one is the most noteworthy:
27. Examining the entire election enforcement Slack, we didn’t see one reference to moderation requests from the Trump campaign, the Trump White House, or Republicans generally. We looked. They may exist: we were told they do. However, they were absent here.

It was the inevitable outcome of the mass hysteria we call TDS.

people always fight for tyranny then complain when their society becomes tyrannical. liberals are fighting tooth and nail for tyranny. It's the Jacobin way. Liberals really don't get that once the guillotines are raised, the baskets must continue to be filled, eventually with their heads.
And they're so driven by the overstuffed fantasy of their imaginary virtue, so feverish in their desire to crush the evil they've projected from their own hearts, that they won't see it coming.
