For me, it's a reread of Gail Simone's wonderful Secret Six series. I can't recommend it enough for anyone who enjoys seeing bad people doing bad things... or are they that bad? The pre-New 52 book, not the horrid New 52 book. I just wish DC would give it an omnibus.

I just read the Marvel anti-smoking giveaway comic from the early 80's starring Spider-Man, Power Man and Storm. It's a pretty silly story but for the life of me I cannot find out who did the book. There are no credits in the actual book and when I googled a CGC copy of there are no credits listed there either.

robert crais new novel racing the light-picking it up tomorrow. best mystery writer bar none.

Buckler sounds right.
I read a couple of those VERY PBagge Fantagraphics biographies, and was highly amused and equally fascinated.
He puts a heavy PB spin on everything, but copiously footnotes, so you get a bit of balance.
