YouTubers are extremely popular, and it seems like there are YouTubers for every interest and hobby. Collect, post and discuss YouTuber videos in this thread. They are a lot of fun.

Ok...one of my guilty pleasures is watching YouTubers who post videos about earth moving equipment. drx do you ever watch them? Anyway...the most popular ones I watch are: www.youtube.com/c/DieselCreekwww.youtube.com/c/DirtPerfectwww.youtube.com/c/letsdig18www.youtube.com/c/KT3406EThis is the guy who got me hooked...Andrew Camarata. He started out with a lawn mowing business in upstate New York and just kept buying more and more equipment and expanding his business. He has about 1.2 million subscribers now, so he's making big bucks on YouTube. www.youtube.com/c/AndrewCamarataHere's his latest video. We finally see a little more of what everyone thinks is probably his GF, but we're not sure. There's a HUGE surprise at the end of the video (I ain't kiddin').

In my travels I'm CONSTANTLY bumping into YouTubers. In LA I bumped into an entire FAMILY of them. They were visiting from Ireland and they were filming every aspect of their lives, but it was like watching a bad reality show live and in person. It was entirely unnatural. I mean, in LA literally EVERYONE is trying to be an influencer. On the sidewalks, in restaurants and hotels. Quite pathetic. It's like the old rock and roll scene on the Strip except this time around they're all wanna be influencers. As my bestie in LA says "they produce nothing" My life is a YouTube video. I mean, everyone's actually is...I just have too much self respect to share it with everyone.

I can see how it would be annoying if I saw it all the time. LA is filled with people trying to break "into the business," so it doesn't surprise me that the streets are full of narcissistic wannabees filming every aspect of their lives. The stuff I watch is highly entertaining...either the subject matter or the talent of the people doing it. Some of this stuff is ten times better than anything on TV...which I view as mostly garbage.

I subscribe to Rhett Shull and pretty much watch everything he puts out. He's a great musician and I trust his opinion.
This video is about Jake Workman who is a Bluegrass flatpicking monster. Check him out.

The stuff I watch is highly entertaining...either the subject matter or the talent of the people doing it. Some of this stuff is ten times better than anything on TV...which I view as mostly garbage. I mean, when I say "everyone" I don't mean hotel attendants and cab drivers. It was a figure of speech, but yeah, you see it everywhere. You see it on hikes, in tourist areas, in restaurants and bars. In one day I saw two 'famous You Tubers' filing stuff and both were visiting just for the reason. I know because I asked. Some venues are now known to be "tik toker hangouts' the way old places used to be rock star or movie star hangouts...and the kids flock there hoping to meet a famour tik toker. I drove my daughter past one of the places and was naming the spot saying 'the food is good' and she freaked out, telling me how she'd seen that place online and that it was a famous hang. I had no idea. I'd been going to that spot for years just for the food. So the age of the influencer is upon us and they have replaced the rock stars and movie stars of old. It's all kids care about these days.
