People believe climate change because its the only narrative allowed-all other voices are silenced. Just look at the global warmin thread-everyone who opposed the warmies got banned from the thread. Wut a crock. But you said Mike does a good job moderating. When I'm wrong I'm wrong. You were right. Mike's moderation is blatantly biased. I miss the old moderation-it was capricious, but at least it was not biased. |

People are either afraid to speak out because they don't want to get on Mike's and the mob's bad side and it ruin their ability to be on the boards OR They don't want to get involved with the controversy as the boards were supposed to be just a 'fun place' for them. Either way, moderation is at the root of the latest board controversy (and as ANYONE can now see, it has nothing to do with me  since I haven't even posted there in 3 months. It's ALL moderation. Time wounds all heels, and time heals all wounds.  |

Mike seems to be listening which is a good sign and hard to do when being attacked by multiple people as is happening in that thread so I am revising my estimate.

His moderation is being criticized. He gets PAID to hear this. And more importantly, it's all 100% accurate. Why you deleted that post and apologized is beyond me. It was 100% spot on. You want to see what 'attacked' means? Read all of the people replying to me THAT MIKE ALLOWED AND EVEN ENCOURAGED. And I took it all for free simply because I felt it was the right thing to do, to stand up to the bias on the boards. Cry me a river about Mike being attacked.  Those posts about his moderation are a direct result of his moderation and they are all valid. |

Not even close to what you experienced agree on that. As for my apology sometimes you get further with a bit of kindness than a confrontation. |
