No moderator will please everyone and he's definitely better than the old moderation that would just strike out of the blue and say "You are getting a strike for something you did. Do not do it again". No explanations no nuthin. But he leaves guys like Forbush Man who just insults everyone. Yeah this is bizarre-bans me and others for 'contentious posts' but forbushwacker who mostly just posts insults gets a free pass. |

But he leaves guys like Forbush Man who just insults everyone. Yeah this is bizarre-bans me and others for 'contentious posts' but forbushwacker who mostly just posts insults gets a free pass. It doesn't surprise me. Their lack of logic and forced ideology eventually turns on itself. Mike turned on you even though you were his supporter and always spoke logically and soundly in that thread. I hear that thread is really exciting these days.  Forbushwacker (Bob) is a loser. Can't wait to see him next time at a show so I can tell him so.  |

Gettin banned from science threads because I am supposedly "anti science" because I dont agree with the other guy's science is about as unscientific as it gets. The science behind global warming is utter hogwash. Their main spokesperson is a child. If we still did things like this we'd still think the sun goes around the earth.
"I'm sorry, saying the earth goes around the sun is anti-science! Knock it off!" Science thrives on debate for f*** sake.

Gettin banned from science threads because I am supposedly "anti science" because I dont agree with the other guy's science is about as unscientific as it gets. The science behind global warming is utter hogwash. Their main spokesperson is a child. If we still did things like this we'd still think the sun goes around the earth. "I'm sorry, saying the earth goes around the sun is anti-science! Knock it off!" Science thrives on debate for f*** sake. And she's 100% virtue signaling attention whore. Condescension with a sneer. |

The older I get, the more I learn, the more I see the more I believe that this is ALL DELIBERATE. She was 'chosen' by powers that have an agenda because she appeals to a segment of society. All of politics is just one big reality show with players chosen, or cast for specific tasks to get an end result. And I believe that even voting for opposing parties doesn't change much, because if the system is dishonest then the game can never be. I'll give you a great example. In Canada, we have Pierre Trudeau in office. Even people in his own party and papers and journalists who were sympathetic to him are starting to agree that he has too much power and is doing too much damage single handedly. So who runs against him? Pierre Poilievre, a conservative, and he opposes Justin Trudeau diametrically on literally every single thing. Except, the damage has been done. Society has been transformed. Trudeau is trying to implement a digital tracking system but the logistical ground work is done. When he implemented Federal vaccine mandates across the country and forced people to comply with it by building digital trace tracking systems for every business just to remain open the damage was done and can't be undone. ESG folks. It's all game and all parties are headed in the same direction. And they won't allow someone in office they can't control. Honestly, I think that's the main reason they are so vehemently opposing Trump. He threatens everything that is coming down the pipe. |

All he cares about is looking correct, not being correct, because his whole self worth is built on the existence of looking like the smartest guy in the room. He's about as anti-science as anyone I've ever met. Anybody with half a brain can see he isn't correct much of the time. I used to school him in comic threads all the time too and he'd slink away quietly, only then moderation didn't care to police me. Now they seem to have some stranger fascination with him. There's a reason that an independent press keeps the authorities honest. And in that same vein, removing ANY opposition in the Water Cooler makes the WC lean towards dishonesty. It's a necessary and over reaching principle. And the king of dishonesty now rules the kingdom.   |

There's only one reason why guys like namisgr, 500Club, Jaybuck, dr banner and others refuse to post anywhere except the CGC forums, where moderators protect them and moderate any real opposition. If the concern was REALLY about saving people from misinformation they'd engage here, especially among peers who are well known to them. They're obviously aware of the discussion since they have mentioned it countless times so they avoid it for other reasons. |
