Good of the author to recycle a theme that’s been around since the first group of kids graduated from a one-room schoolhouse in the days of yore. Doubly good of the author to deride the Gen Z-ers while placing no responsibility on preceding generations to either effectively teach or foster any sustained interest in spelling or history. “Dang whippersnappers invented Spellcheck because they’re too lazy to learn to do things right!”  |
