Good God. Canada has gone from Vaccine passports to 'concussion passports' for kids. Wow.
What the Hel is a "concussion passport"?

So, for those who don't know Canada covered up a genocide within it's own borders against Indigenous people.
This isn't my point, this is generally accepeted. Just search it. Genocide, infanticide. It all happened here.
Now look at this reply by Trudeau when asked about the genocide happening in China, which is generally now accepted as happening.
But as you watch and listen, I want to point you towards his beady eyes and the way he squints.
He has taken acting classes (this is well known of him) and none of his facial expresses are genuine. They are all manufactured anc curated.
He looks like he's a robot with a programmed reply. He never used to look this fake.
The reply is utterly bonkers.

Wow.
And the Prime Minister knew about this nearly a year ago.

British Columbia, Canada's Westernmost has a neutral party.
“It’s never about left or right,” he said, noting the majority of British Columbians are not card carrying members of a political party but will support whichever party that makes life more affordable for them.

A Ukrainian missile killed two people in Poland by accident.
The news (and Prime Minister Trudeau) protested against Russia because they believed it was a Russian missle.
When it was revealed that it was NOT a Russian missile and likely a Ukrainian missile, that killed the Polish people by accident, Trudeau pivoted and blamed Russia for the civilian strike anyway, stating that they only did it because Ukraine was defending itself.
You couldn't make this sort of political garbage up if you tried.
As a friend of mine says:
Clown. World.

But right before it was found that the missile was Ukrainian Trudeau was encouraging Zelensky that there would be an investigation. You can't make this stuff up. Clown. World.

The investigation into the use of the Emergency (War) Measures Act by PM Trudeau to stop the Trucker Convoy protest is into it's final week.
So far, not a single shred of evidence has shown that the the Act was necessary.
None. In fact Intelligence and Police have testified to the opposite.
There was no violence. There was no racism or bigotry. There was no threat to national security. There was no threat to the local public.

For those who have the time to listen or enjoy listening to opposing view points, this discussion between Jordan Peterson and Danielle Smith (Premiere of Alberta) gives a very good insight into Conservative principles and how and why they disagree with current Liberal principles, but this isn't a bash fest. It's a very polite, respectful and practical discussion about how and why they'd do things different. It's a very illuminating and easy to follow discussion on opposite points of view. BTW, where's tacoman / MetalPSI? Doesn't he live in Alberta?

Trudeau is testifying today on the last day of the 6 week long commission investigating his use of the Emergency (War) Measures Act. I don't want to post all the Tweets but this journalist has lots of info on the trial including relevant excerpts of Trudeau's testimony. The real downside of this commission is that the person overseeing it was appointed by Trudeau himself as a judge. So there are concerns of having a fair hearing, but the truth is coming out for Canadians to hear and I've been following it closely. It looks as though Trudeau DID NOT have enough reason to implement the act but most suspect that he will pass through unscathed because the 'fix' is in. twitter.com/thecountersgnl

I'm going to put this Tweet in spoliers but it's worth reading. Link to article: Thirty-five publishers secretly attended a confidential 2020 teleconference with the Canada Revenue Agency and Department of Finance to discuss terms of a $595 million media bailoutLink to Tweet and body of article: {Thirty-five publishers secretly attended a confidential 2020 teleconference with the Canada Revenue Agency and Department of Finance to discuss terms of a $595 million media bailout}
Thirty-five publishers attended a confidential 2020 teleconference with the Canada Revenue Agency and Department of Finance to discuss terms of a $595 million media bailout, Access To Information records show. Publishers submitted questions in advance. None reported it.
“What is the expected wait time to receive payment?” asked one publisher. “When do you expect the first applications to be approved?” asked another.
The confidential July 20, 2020 “call with stakeholders” is detailed in 622 censored pages of documents released yesterday. The Department of Finance withheld the records for more than two years.
“Canada Revenue Agency is holding calls with stakeholders on Monday and Tuesday next week about journalism tax measures,” wrote staff. “They received some questions in advance and asked if we could provide input.”
Questions included, “When can we expect confirmation?” “What are you doing for smaller publications and those who publish for specific targeted audiences?” “How can freelance journalists who work for different news media companies benefit?”
Records show “35 individuals” joined the teleconference. All names were censored. The Department of Finance and Revenue Agency yesterday would not name them.
Parliament in 2019 passed Bill C-97 Budget Implementation Act that approved $595 million in subsidies for publishers deemed by the Minister of Revenue to be QCJOs, “qualified Canadian journalism organizations.” Subsidies included 25 percent payroll rebates and 15 percent subscription tax credits.
No publisher acknowledged lobbying for aid. Lobbyist Registry records do not mention the July 20, 2020 teleconference.
Blacklock’s in 2019 uncovered Access To Information records indicating cabinet only agreed to subsidies after a trade group News Media Canada hired lobbyist Isabel Metcalfe. The former Liberal candidate for Parliament was a campaign organizer for then-Environment Minister Catherine McKenna.
Metcalfe held 79 separate meetings with senior officials including staff at the Prime Minister’s Office. No publisher who paid Metcalfe reported the fact.
Metcalfe in a January 11, 2019 email to the Department of Canadian Heritage “attached some background materials” for terms of the bailout that later appeared in Bill C-97. Terms included criteria for applicants and disqualification of start-up media from receiving taxpayers’ aid.
Lobbyist Registry records show Metcalfe met then-Minister Mélanie Joly and her successor Minister Pablo Rodriguez among 12 separate sessions with department staff. Metcalfe also lobbied 13 deputy and assistant deputy ministers.
Cabinet prior to the lobbying blitz had rejected direct cash subsidies to publishers as pointless. “Our approach will not be to bail out industry models that are no longer viable,” Minister Joly said in 2017. “Rather we will focus our efforts in supporting innovation, experimentation and transition to digital.”

This is the state of the press in Canada The day after publishing a revealing article about a secret meeting between most 35 unnamed publishers and the Canadian government over distribution of $600 MIL in subsidies (see post above this one), Blacklock's was thrown out of the Federal Government Press Gallery.
Parliamentary Press Gallery executives accompanied by armed police on Friday evicted Blacklock’s. Parliamentary Press Gallery executives accompanied by armed police on Friday evicted Blacklock’s. All questions were referred to a House of Commons employee. Blacklock’s said the eviction, first of its kind in the history of the National Press Building, was clear reprisal over its continued protests against media subsidies. Eviction followed Gallery president Guillaume St-Pierre’s threat to “terminate” Blacklock’s membership. The eviction letter stated Blacklock’s managing editor Tom Korski was “impolite,” “disturbs the journalists around him” and “streams parliamentary committee hearings on his computer.” The complaints were made by three reporters: Emilie Bergeron and Michel Saba of Canadian Press and freelancer Hélène Buzzetti, a former Gallery president. Fourteen other reporters assigned desks in the National Press Building did not sign the complaint. “Failure to observe these prohibitions could result in further and potentially more serious sanctions including further and potentially permanent prohibitions,” wrote President St-Pierre, correspondent for the Journal de Montréal. The Gallery refused to permit Blacklock’s to speak to the board of directors regarding reprisal complaints. “The executive did not invite oral representations,” said the eviction notice. “We will now see the Press Gallery in court,” Blacklock’s shareholders said in a statement. “Our subsidized competitors met in secret, plotted punitive measures over petty grievances and served an eviction notice accompanied by armed police. Their conduct is outrageous.” Blacklock’s is the only Press Gallery member eligible for federal subsidies that neither solicits nor accepts government funding. The eviction came one day after Blacklock’s published Access To Information records detailing a private meeting between 35 unnamed publishers and the Canada Revenue Agency on distribution of $595 million in subsidies. Blacklock’s in 2020 also reported Canadian Press unsuccessfully petitioned the Commons finance committee for federal grants to cover 100 percent of revenues, the equivalent of $500,000 a week. CP President Malcolm Kirk asked for subsidies “to fully offset subscription fees paid by CP’s media clients.” Blacklock’s at a 2021 Press Gallery meeting sponsored a motion that “all Gallery members disclose all applications for grants, rebates or subsidies to any branch of the Government of Canada” and publish the disclosures on its website. The motion was defeated. “That’s cleared up,” said then-Gallery president Catherine Levesque of Canadian Press. “The Press Gallery action is clearly reprisal,” wrote Blacklock’s shareholders. “We will fight.”

This is quite astounding. They knew the truth but nobody wanted to press the PM on it. {Article body in spoiler.} Political aides knew to be false a cabinet claim the Freedom Convoy received suspicious foreign donations, internal records show. Rumours spread by the Prime Minister and others went uncorrected because the issue was “a hot potato,” wrote one press secretary.
“This question has been a bit of a hot potato,” wrote Adrienne Vaupshas, press secretary to the Minister of Finance. Other political aides expressed unease following an enquiry from the Wall Street Journal questioning cabinet claims.
Paul Vieira, Journal correspondent on Parliament Hill, on February 21 sought clarification after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed the convoy “received disturbing amounts of foreign funding to destabilize Canada’s democracy.”
“Can the Prime Minister’s Office provide evidence to corroborate this claim?” asked Vieira. “How much are ‘disturbing amounts’? How much money are we talking about?”
The claim was false. Financial accounts showed most money raised by protesters was donated by Canadians, and none was associated with extremist or criminal groups.
Political aides circulated the Wall Street Journal questions and concluded they should not comment. “I don’t think we’d have anything to say on this,” wrote Alexander Cohen, communications director to the Minister of Public Safety.
“To be honest we’ve tried to avoid questions about the foreign funding angle because we don’t have hard information on it and most of it is actually legal (despite being objectionable, etcetera),” wrote Cohen.
Cabinet members repeated the claim of suspicious foreign funding. “There have been alarm bells going off about the rate at which the leaders have been able to raise significant funds much of which has been raised from abroad,” Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino said February 16.
Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair on February 16 also mistakenly claimed the protest was “a largely foreign funded, targeted and coordinated attack which was clearly criminally intended to harm Canada.”
The Public Order Emergency Commission determined of $24,529,000 raised by the Freedom Convoy through crowdfunding sites a total 59 percent was contributed by Canadians. Juan Benitez, president of GoFundMe, testified March 3 at the Commons public safety committee the largest single donation was $30,000 from an unidentified Canadian.
GoFundMe found no evidence of suspicious donations, said Benitez. “We commenced a review,” he said.
“Did you ever identify there was anyone on a terrorist watch list in the United States or Canada or anywhere in the world who donated through GoFundMe? Any sort of organized crime elements?” asked Conservative MP Dane Lloyd (Sturgeon River-Parkland, Alta.). “We do extensive screening,” replied President Benitez.
“So you didn’t identify any problematic people donating to the convoy and if you had identified those people you would have stopped it, is that correct?” asked MP Lloyd. “That’s correct,” replied Benitez.
