Back in 2011, I created a thread on the CGC forum to discuss the best sniping software available at the time.
For me, I went with Gavelsnipe. It had all the bells and whistles I was looking for, and it was completely free with unlimited snipes and wins.
Unfortunately, Gavelsnipe is no longer in existence. You can read about it here. I was unaware of Heritage Auctions' investment. I don't trust those guys at all.
In any case, a lot of people are recommending Gixen now. It's free for up to 4 winning snipes a month. If you require more, you need to upgrade to Gixen Mirror for $6/year. I'll probably be trying it soon.
If you prefer a different Sniping Software, please tell us about it.
