Good one. I swear I saw this one on MTV and it fit the bill, but I can't find proof. I think it may have to do with how British music was released in the US.

By “proof” do you mean a self-titled album? This is an interesting song similar to Motörhead’s “Motörhead” in that it’s a cover of a song written a few years earlier for one of the members former groups. The original was faster and had a larger rock/70’s punk feel. Here in the States we got this and “Mirror Man”. The suckier of the two “Mirror Man” songs to chart back then. I give the nod to the Human League’s effort in that debate.
