Voters Ready to Leave Trump Behind, Poll Finds"Far from consolidating his support, the former president appears weakened in his party, especially with younger and college-educated Republicans. Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida is the most popular alternative." "As Donald J. Trump weighs whether to open an unusually early White House campaign, a New York Times/Siena College poll shows that his post-presidential quest to consolidate his support within the Republican Party has instead left him weakened, with nearly half the party’s primary voters seeking someone different for president in 2024 and a significant number vowing to abandon him if he wins the nomination."

A friend of mine who moved to Cali over 30 years ago shared this. They moved there with nothing and built a successful life for themselves from having literally nothing to being a Beverly Hills hairdresser to the stars to owning multiple properties.
I thought it was hilarious. I can't believe how many times Newsome got caught lying during the pandemic and he still commands power (Cali did a Recall last summer when they tried to remove him).

This interview is nearly ten years old, but was a fun listen at the time. It’s a long segment, but should be enjoyable for anyone who was a fan of Corolla’s radio show or podcast back in the day. I haven’t been following Mr. Corolla myself for the past year or two, so I’m not really sure what he’s complaining about nowadays.

www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-2024-criminal-probes-jan6-1384379/Trump Tells Team He Needs to Be President Again to Save Himself from Criminal Probes
The former president is planning on running for the White House — and away from the law"When Donald Trump formally declares his 2024 candidacy, he won’t just be running for another term in the White House. He’ll be running away from legal troubles, possible criminal charges, and even the specter of prison time." "The former president is motivated to announce early — even before Election Day 2022 — in the hopes of clearing the field of primary rivals. But GOP leaders, including some of Trump’s closest advisors, don’t want him to declare his intentions until after the midterm elections. The GOP wants to keep voters focused on President Joe Biden, rather than transforming the contest into a referendum on Trump. In recent months, Trump has reluctantly agreed to hold off, only to return shortly thereafter with threats to make an early announcement, either out of self-interest, spite, or some combination of the two."

This guy has apparently, accurately predicted every presidential win for almost the last 40 years.
He famously predicted Trump winning in 2016 and also losing in 2020.
From what I understood about his methodology, any Republican would have won in 2016 based on his criteria. Trump just happened to be running.
He might be the guy to watch.

I can't imagine Biden winning because his own party doesn't want him to run. But I could see him beating Trump again if he did run.

I can't imagine Biden winning because his own party doesn't want him to run. But I could see him beating Trump again if he did run. I can't believe that a man who can hardly string a sentence together and can't even walk properly is running the most powerful country in the world.

BREAKING: FBI raids Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate | LiveNOW from FOX Probably belongs in a Jan 6th thread, but what a Witch hunt. Has the FBI answered for why they raided the owner of Project Veritas' home over Biden's daughter's diary yet? Nope. And yet the dude did NOTHING wrong with that diary. He didn't hide it. Didn't publish it. Did NOTHING wrong but his life has been turned upside down over it. And why? WHAT DID BIDEN HAVE TO HIDE? We are living in scary times when even your own intelligence agencies are being openly used as political tools. It's happening in Canada too, BTW. The general public should be terrified. Absolutely terrified, because it can happen to you...it can happen to anyone. Even from what little we know, everyone can now see the corruption. BTW, I'm not saying Trump's residence didn't need to be raided. All I'm saying is they've already proven to be unscrupulous and political at least once...and once is enough to not trust them.

Allies were quick to back Trump's claim that the unprecedented search of a former president's home was politically motivated, with some vowing to take action on Capitol Hill.

Could this explain the Trump raid? news.yahoo.com/trump-broke-law-removal-records-122500277.htmlIf Trump Broke Law on Removal of Records, Would He Be Barred From Office?Early reports that the FBI search of former President Donald Trump’s residence in Florida related to an investigation into whether he had unlawfully taken government files when he left the White House focused attention on an obscure criminal law barring removal of official records. The penalties for breaking that law include disqualification from holding any federal office.
Because Trump is widely believed to be preparing to run for president again in 2024, that unusual penalty raised the prospect that he might be legally barred from returning to the White House.
Specifically, the law in question — Section 2071 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code — makes it a crime if someone who has custody of government documents or records “willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies or destroys” them.
