Hello, Searching for a comic book that I owned when I was around 5 years old. I believe it was one of the DC horror comics (Secrets of Haunted House, House of Mystery, Weird War Tales, etc.). All I can remember (vaguely) is a panel showing maybe two hands coming out of the ground (hands are skeleton perhaps? ground is in front of a headstone?). And I think towards the end of the comic there is a man walking past or walking towards some sort of lamppost. The lamppost gets brighter and the mans face melts. I have attached an image of what I believe was an ad in that specific comic:
Its very important to me that I find this. I've been searching the best to my ability, but so far nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you |

Using the ad you linked as a jumping off point, likely comics that would have had such a story are: Ghosts #84 House Of Mystery #276 Secrets Of Haunted House #20 The Unexpected #195 Weird War Tales #83 Unfortunately there’s no tombstones, double hands, lamp posts, or melting faces to be found in any of these. There is a story in HOM #276 called “The Faceless Man”, but nothing in the story is even close to what you described.  Anything else you remember would certainly help this search. |

Probably not the book but this is what I thought of initially.  Probably too old, and I don’t remember the stories, but I’ll check it out later. That is a pretty memorable cover. |

I really feel this is the image that is key (circled in RED):
Do you guys know if there are other ads besides the one I posted in these DC horror comics that have this image somewhere?
