Not only that but it's the 50th anniversary. TCM played the Hendrix movie a little while ago. I've already listened to a few of my favorites, Killing Floor from Monterey is like 1960s thrash metal.

Different version. I’m liking this. Oh yeah, the other versions are available, just not Monterey. That's the version I love, good thing I have the dvd. Killing Floor, Rock Me Baby, and Can You See Me are my favorites from Monterey. Two covers I don't think were on any albums and an original song NO ONE TAPED!!  Hell, only 3 out of the 10 songs were original and they didn't film one of them. Probably gettin' stoned... |

Here's Jimi on acoustic in two separate videos. He's was so incredibly talented. A national treasure.
I had a friend who had a poster from this movie in his room when we were in high school.
The second video starts at about 4:40 if you want to skip the blank area.
