Hey all, new guy here. Kinda clueless where to post this request, but this forum came up while hunting for a good comic book forum!
So years ago, I think it was the early 80s, I recall reading this comic that made quite an impression on me. I still think about it from time to time. It was Moebius or in the style of Moebius. It was gritty and grim, with a post-apocalyptic, urban vibe; I seem to recall it felt like it was taking place in a sort of ruined city, maybe underground? There was a plague that would violently transform the stricken into some sort of horrific monster, tentacles, gross skin, the whole enchilada. The protagonist, a young woman, was routinely going to see a doctor for her boyfriend to get some kind of treatment. I think the treatments were becoming rare, or something was running out? I think the doctor might have gotten sick and transformed in front of her, and she had to escape. With her source for treatments gone, she and her boyfriend decide to escape (up? Out? I can’t recall…) but he doesn’t make it; I think he transforms into a plague-monster en route. And this is where my memory gets even more fuzzy: I think she makes it “out” but there is no out and it has a very sad ending… I can’t remember exactly what it is though!
Anyone know the title, or how I could find the title? I’d love to get a copy of it again, and see how much I remember and how much my memory is “filling in the gaps”...
Thanks!

Im almost certain you are talking about one of the volumes of Drunna. That storyline sounds like one of the ones... granted the only Drunna I have read is in french and I can't read french. But the art is utterly brillaint.
