Watching this kind of made me squirm in my seat a bit and wondering if this was a legit CGC demo of them doing a quick inspection or page count. I kept waiting for a further fold or tear in the front cover as each page was flipped. The way the book was slipped back into the bag seemed a bit hasty, but my expectations were likely heightened due to the age and the specific book shown. I really don't know what to make of this.

I handle my ECs like that but a Supes 1 would get a little more tenderness. |

From the grading process to the encapsulation process, CGC abuses your books in the name of speed. CGC Comic Collectors SocietyThe inner holder wasn't centered properly and has been welded outside the case. Obviously, CGC has no quality control since you can see this defect from 10 feet away (maybe further).  The book was damaged in the process. Does this look like a 9.8 to you?  As I always say, "Why would you pay for this? Learn how to grade your own books, and stop relying on third parties who only care about profit. What do you think is eventually going to happen to the value of your CGC books when the world figures out what they've been doing? Guess. GUESS!  " |
