A Little Background
I never set out to have a forum, it just sort of happened. This place started out as a joke made to some friends at CGC. That's why it's on a free forum site. I originally designed it to look EXACTLY like CGC at the time. Every forum was replicated here. We joked around on it for awhile, had our fun and then moved on. Then in 2016 CGC came out with their new case, and it had tons of problems. I started documenting those problems here. Others came for help, I tried to help them, and the place started looking more and more like a real forum. Then, as time passed and more people became regular posters, I modified it to become an ACTUAL comic book forum.
Fast Forward to the Present
1) It's been fun, and I've really enjoyed interacting with people here. But, to be honest, I really don't want to be in charge of the day-to-day administration of a comic book forum - that part isn't very fun and I just don't have the time for it.
2) There is information and material stored on this forum that is important to me, and I don't want to lose access to it. Since the forum is on Proboards (a free site), it can be deleted if it isn't moderated to remove posts which violate their terms of use. This has been the big issue. If the forum isn't monitored it's at risk, and if I simply shut it down it's unfair to the people who have invested their time and effort into the forum.
3) To summarize a very long story, back in July of 2018 I was able to outsource Moderation, and now I've found someone to take over the Administrative work.
So I'm finally free! For those who enjoy participating here, don't worry, nothing will change.
